The fair will be open from Friday to Sunday in the Pla\u00e7a de Les Aules in Castell\u00f3 and will feature showcookings by chefs Alejandra and Emanuel, from ‘Restaurante Atalaya’ in Alcossebre, on Saturday at 12.00 noon; Miguel Barrera, from ‘Cal Para\u00edso’ in Vall d’Alba, on Saturday at 7.30 p.m., and Ra\u00fal Resino. from ‘Restaurante Ra\u00fal Resino’ in Benicarl\u00f3, on Sunday at 12.00 noon.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The president of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed; the deputy of Tourism, Virginia Mart\u00ed, and the deputy of Rural Development, Santi P\u00e9rez, have visited this morning the fair ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor, which reaches its third edition and will remain open in the Pla\u00e7a de las Aules of the capital of La Plana until Sunday, May 21.
\nThe event opens its doors from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm on both Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday the opening hours will be from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. <\/p>\n

The fair hosts a total of eleven exhibitors of producers in the province and will feature showcookings by chefs who hold a Michelin Star in the province: Alejandra and Emanuel, from ‘Restaurante Atalaya’ in Alcossebre, on Saturday at 12.00 pm; Miguel Barrera, from ‘Cal Para\u00edso’ in Vall d’Alba, on Saturday at 7.30 pm, and Ra\u00fal Resino, from ‘Restaurante Ra\u00fal Resino’ in Benicarl\u00f3, on Sunday at 12.00 pm.<\/p>\n

The president of the Provincial Council, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, stressed that the main objective of the fair is to make visible the products of the province, with special attention to the interior, “because there are many proposals of proximity that we can find many, all of quality”.
\nGastronomic tourism is one of the main pillars of the tourism policy of the Provincial Council through the brand ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’. <\/p>\n

People who come to the Pla\u00e7a de les Aules during the weekend will be able to enjoy live product presentations, tastings and gastronomic demonstrations, in addition to being able to purchase the products on display at the different stands.<\/p>\n

Participating companies<\/strong><\/p>\n

The companies participating in this edition are Consell Regulador de la D.O.P “Carxofa de Benicarl\u00f3, Fruits de la Terra ‘Truffle Experts’, Tomata de Penjar, Patatas Fritas Geysel, La Posteta Melmelades Artesanes, Magistratus Mermeladas, Turrones Blasco Cat\u00ed, Artesanos Gil, Pobillecol\u00f2gics, Bodegas Besalduch Valls Belmunt, Clos de Esgarracordes.<\/p>\n

Friday’s program<\/strong><\/p>\n

The fair opened today, Friday, with the product presentations of the ‘Consell Regulador de la D.O.P Carxofa de Benicarl\u00f3’ at 12.00 hours and Pobillecologics at 13.00 hours. The presentations continue in the afternoon with ‘Tomata de Penjar’ at 4.30 pm, ‘Patatas Fritas Geysel’ at 5.30 pm, ‘La Posteta’ at 6.30 pm, ‘Turrones Blasco’ from Cat\u00ed at 7.30 pm and ‘Artesanos Gil’ at 8.30 pm. In addition, there will be a product tasting by ‘La Posteta’ at 18.30 hours. <\/p>\n

Saturday’s program<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday the activities will continue with the product presentation of ‘Magistratus Mermeladas’ at 11.00 hours, the showcooking of ‘Restaurante Atalaya’ at 12.00 hours and the presentation of ‘Bodegas Besalduch Valls Belmunt’ at 13.00 hours.<\/p>\n

The presentations will continue in the afternoon: at 4.30 pm with the ‘Consell Regulador de la D.O.P Carxofa de Benicarl\u00f3’, ‘Clos d’Esgarracordes’ at 5.30 pm and then ‘Artesanos Gil’. The showcooking of ‘Miguel Barrera’ will be at 7.30 pm and at 8.30 pm a product presentation by ‘Pobillecologics’. <\/p>\n

Sunday’s program<\/strong><\/p>\n
