The vice-president and responsible for Tourism, Andr\u00e9s Mart\u00ednez, visits the Mostra de la Trufa Negra de l’Alt Maestrat and shows the commitment of the Provincial Council to “disseminate and promote the truffle as a gastronomic element that is part of the economy of many families”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The vice president and head of the Tourism area of the Provincial Council of Castell\u00f3n, Andr\u00e9s Mart\u00ednez, visited this Saturday morning the XX Mostra de la Trufa Negra de l’Alt Maestrat in Culla and praised the value of the black truffle as a generator of wealth and opportunities in the interior of the province of Castell\u00f3n. This consolidated fair has become an unmissable event for lovers of this precious fungus, since the celebration of the fair coincides with the time of greatest aroma and flavor of black truffles. So the vice president stressed the importance of “supporting initiatives like this that publicize the quality of our products and generate activity in our municipalities, but also open economic opportunities for companies linked to this sector in the province of Castell\u00f3n”. In this sense, Andr\u00e9s Mart\u00ednez has shown the commitment of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n to “disseminate and value the truffle as a gastronomic element that is part of the economy of many families.” “We must appreciate and support the products that are born in our land and we must do so by putting them in value and showing them to the world,” said the deputy of Tourism. That is the goal pursued by the Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n to “publicize the quality of our products, through the gastronomic brand Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor, and serve as generators of opportunities for our inland towns,” stressed the vice president. And, as the deputy of Tourism has commented, “this black diamond is not only an exclusive delicacy, it is also a symbol of the culinary and cultural richness of the province, an element of great value for our rural areas”. Thus, during the day this Saturday and tomorrow Sunday, a multitude of food lovers, truffle growers, companies linked to the sector, nurseries and hoteliers will congregate around this precious raw material. “It is a unique opportunity to know and discover the charms of Culla, but also to learn the secrets of this prized fungus, taste it and buy products that are born in Castell\u00f3n,” said Andr\u00e9s Mart\u00ednez. In this sense, the vice president of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n has assured that “Castell\u00f3n has in its land an endless number of products that place it in the top of the world of gastronomy, and one of them is the black truffle. This fungus has become a highly appreciated product in the best kitchens for its special aroma”.
