This has been specified in the course of the meeting held by the provincial deputy of Tourism, Virginia Mart\u00ed, and the provincial deputy of Rural Development, Santi P\u00e9rez, with the director of Gastr\u00f3noma, Alejandro Roda. The Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n invests 28,050 euros in this event, which is one of the main sponsors along with the Diputaci\u00f3n de Valencia and Turisme Comunitat Valenciana.  <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Virgina Mart\u00ed has pointed out that this is a necessary investment &#8220;because in this show the best products of the Valencian Community and other parts of Spain are exposed&#8221;. According to Mart\u00ed, &#8220;without the support of the Provincial Council many of our producers could not have a presence at the fair because they could not afford the cost of the stand&#8221;. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The deputy is convinced that &#8220;Gastr\u00f3noma is a fair where you have to be because gastronomic tourism is becoming more and more important and because in this field, for the quality of our products, the province of Castell\u00f3n can compete with full guarantees of success&#8221;. In addition, &#8220;it so happens that our province is the only one that attends this promotional event with its own brand&#8221;. The 28 producers that will be grouped under the brand Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor will occupy the stand of the Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Gastr\u00f3noma is an open forum that brings together major chefs, manufacturers, distributors, small retailers and artisans, which in the 2018 edition registered more than 17,000 visits. In the 2019 edition, which is expected to be the best in history, it will have 30% more space to provide the best possible service to an increasingly professional public.
