The provincial institution will include an item in the 2020 budget to subsidize gastronomic fairs.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Alboc\u00e0sser will host on 5 and 6 October the eighth edition of the Almond Fair, which has the support of the brand ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’. The official presentation in the capital of La Plana took place this morning at the Provincial Palace with the presence of the provincial deputy of Tourism, Virginia Mart\u00ed, the mayor of the town, Isabel Albalat, and the councilor of Fairs, Empar Adell. <\/p>\n

Mart\u00ed has congratulated the City Council for the “great impetus” that has been given this year “to the fair par excellence of the almond of the province”, which will unite in just two days gastronomy, workshops, music and fun with the mission to promote this nut so Castell\u00f3. Precisely, it is this line, that of promoting the products ‘Castell\u00f3 brand’, “what has motivated us to integrate ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’ within the competences of Tourism, because we want to value gastronomic tourism, one of the keys that we think can be a great revulsive to revitalize the interior and to promote the economic development of the area”. “We are working under this premise”. <\/p>\n

During her speech, the deputy of Tourism has also stressed “the unconditional support” of the Provincial Council to all those initiatives that sell “what is ours” and announced that the next budget of the provincial institution, the first of the current government team, will include an item for the subsidy of fairs and gastronomic exhibitions on a competitive basis.<\/p>\n

The mayor, meanwhile, highlighted the role of Alboc\u00e0sser as the most important producer of almonds and invited the people of Castell\u00f3n to come to the town to know both the gastronomy and the rich local heritage. Albalat, in addition, has advanced that from the City Council is working to celebrate some “very special” days that will coincide with the time of flowering of the almond trees.
