President Mart\u00ed and the deputy of Tourism receive the award that closes the Gastr\u00f3noma fair in Valencia.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The president of the Provincial Council, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, has collected this afternoon from the side of the provincial deputy of Tourism, Virginia Mart\u00ed, the award that recognizes the program ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’ as the best tourism initiative of 2019. It has been in the framework of the Gastr\u00f3noma fair, which closes its doors today at Feria Valencia after three days of frenetic activity in which 27 producers of the province have shown the charms, quality and innovation of the gastronomy of the Castell\u00f3n regions. The president wanted to thank the winning of this award “which recognizes, first, the potential of our products and our crafts as a tourist attraction and, on the other hand, the relentless work of the council to innovate in the internal and external promotion of what is cooked in our villages”. In this sense, the deputy Virginia Mart\u00ed has highlighted that, with the reorganization, last July, of the competences of the Provincial Council, Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor is included within the Department of Tourism, which is, for Virginia Mart\u00ed, “proof that we believe in our products and our producers as the best letter of presentation of Castell\u00f3”.
