The president of the Provincial Council of Castell\u00f3n, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, visited Gastr\u00f3noma this morning to make clear to the producers of the province the &#8220;full support of the Provincial Council to the work and effort they make to value the products of our province&#8221;. Mart\u00ed, accompanied by the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer; the director of Gastr\u00f3noma, Alejandro Roda, and Cuchita Lluch, executive president of the event, visited the fair along with the provincial deputies of Tourism, Virginia Mart\u00ed, and Rural Development, Santi P\u00e9rez, who have been able to meet one by one the 27 producers grouped under the name of Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor. The Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n invests 28,050 euros in this event, of which it is one of the main sponsors along with the Diputaci\u00f3n de Valencia and Turisme Comunitat Valenciana. Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, after visiting all the stands under the umbrella of Castell\u00f3 Ruta del Sabor, has highlighted the &#8220;great presence of Castell\u00f3 at the fair&#8221;, stressing &#8220;how well considered are the products of Castell\u00f3n in Gastr\u00f3noma&#8221;. The president stressed &#8220;the quality of our products and the clear commitment to innovation&#8221;. In this sense, the president of the Provincial Council considers that &#8220;gastronomy is essential in tourism and there we will be supporting the Ruta del Sabor and making our province as well known as it deserves in the gastronomic aspect and artisan production&#8221;. Virgina Mart\u00ed, whose department now assumes the coordination of Castell\u00f3 Ruta del Sabor, has insisted that the presence of the Provincial Council in Gastr\u00f3noma is necessary &#8220;because here the best products of the Valencian Community and other parts of Spain are exhibited&#8221;. According to Mart\u00ed, &#8220;without the support of the Provincial Council many of our producers could not have a presence at the fair&#8221;. The deputy is convinced that &#8220;we have to be at Gastr\u00f3noma because gastronomic tourism is becoming more and more important and because in this field, due to the quality of our products, the province of Castell\u00f3n can compete with full guarantees of success&#8221;. In addition, &#8220;it so happens that our province is the only one that attends this promotional event with its own brand&#8221;. The companies integrated in Castell\u00f3 Ruta del Sabor that are present in Gastr\u00f3noma are Agua de Benassal, Granja Boverals, Coop. AG San Isidro, Licores Nelet, Magistratus, Turrones Agut, Cooperativa Viver, Manantial de Almed\u00edjar S.L, Bodega Flors, Fruits de la Terra, Mas de Rander, Mas\u00eda dels Fumeros, Salsas Artesanas F. Gil, Dulces La Cartuja, Caf\u00e9s Balancilla, Licores Artesanos de Burriana, Bodega Almar\u00f3s, Productos Adell, Tomata de penjar d&#8217;Alcal\u00e0, Turrones Blasco, Olis Cuquello, Vicent Pan, Bar\u00f3n d&#8217;Alba, Bodega Bellmunt i Oliver, Organ\u00eda Oleum S.L., Belluga Gourmet and Rosamelia. Gastr\u00f3noma is an open forum that brings together major chefs, manufacturers, distributors, small retailers and artisans, which in the 2018 edition registered more than 17,000 visits.
