This has been considered by the popular and professional jury of the tenth edition of the route &#8216;Flavors of Castell\u00f3n&#8217;, which has unveiled this afternoon the names of the winners of 2019 at a gala held at the Jaime I hotel in the capital of the Plana. The deputy of Action against Depopulation and Rural Development, Santi P\u00e9rez, participated in the event on behalf of Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor, sponsor, together with the City Council of Castell\u00f3 and the Valencian Tourism Agency, of this consolidated gastronomic contest. In second position has been the proposal of artichokes in texture of El Pixav\u00ed, followed by the cheeses of Castell\u00f3 of Ataula Gastrobar. As for the specific awards, this year have received special mention the tapa &#8216;tastarina&#8217; of Tastant as the most popular tapa and the &#8216;casta\u00f1era&#8217;, of El Pixav\u00ed, for its presentation. The &#8216;ratj\u00e0 de mercat&#8217;, from the bar del Mercat, is the most traditional elaboration; while the best design is from Gasset Ib\u00e9ricos, for &#8216;cold autumn&#8217;.  <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>A CONSOLIDATED EVENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In just 10 years, &#8216;Sabores de Castell\u00f3n&#8217; has become the biggest gastronomic event in the city, with figures that improve year after year. As explained by the organizing committee, this year 70,000 people have participated, who have consumed 180,000 tapas in 71 establishments in Castell\u00f3, 13 more than in the previous edition.
