Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed underlines from the culinary congress his “absolute support” to the gastronomic sector and highlights the 500,000 euro aid line to promote the companies embraced by the provincial brand.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

Castell\u00f3n products have again this year a prominent presence in one of the most important gastronomic events of the year in Spain. This is ‘Mediterranean Gastr\u00f3noma’, which this 2020 leaves behind the fair format for the congress to adapt to the new reality of the coronavirus. Despite the lower number of participants due to the health crisis, the event remains a priority meeting place for the most coveted hands of the national gastronomy, bringing together more than twenty Michelin stars. The president of the Provincial Council of Castell\u00f3n, Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed, accompanied by the deputy of Tourism, Virginia Mart\u00ed, and the deputy of Rural Development, Santi P\u00e9rez, have visited today the convention center of Feria Val\u00e8ncia to meet each and every one of the 12 stands representing the province in ‘Gastr\u00f3noma’ under the quality brand ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’. Jos\u00e9 Mart\u00ed has conveyed to all the provincial representation “the absolute support of this New Provincial Council to achieve a speedy and complete recovery in the shortest possible space time”. A support that, in this case, is not just words, but has been translated into an important line of aid worth 500,000 euros to promote companies certified with the brand ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’. The president also thanked them for their continuous work to offer consumers the best quality artisan products and “for making an effort to value and disseminate our gastronomic wealth beyond our borders”. In this sense, the deputy of Tourism considers “very necessary” the presence of gastronomy in Feria Val\u00e8ncia “because it is a showcase like few there are to show our products, their quality and variety to an infinite number of professionals in the restaurant, hotel and catering industry”. Virginia Mart\u00ed is convinced that “gastronomic tourism is becoming more and more important and that is why we can not miss the train. With first class products we can believe that our province can compete with full guarantees of success. With this greater interest we have to promote our own brand ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’, to give us more visibility wherever we go”. Mart\u00ed, as well as the rest of the provincial delegation, has made the tour of Feria Val\u00e8ncia by the side of Carlos Mataix and Alejandro Rosa, president and director of the event respectively. It should be noted that the Provincial Council contributes a total of 15,000 euros to the organization. The companies attached to ‘Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor’ that are present in ‘Mediterranean Gastr\u00f3noma’ are Fruits de la Terra, Turrones Blasco, Organia Oleum, Croquellanas, Bodega Vicente Flors, Licor Nelet, Menea Gourmet, Mart\u00ed Roca, Manantial de Almed\u00edjar, Turrones Agut de Benlloch SL, Vicent Pan S.L and Licores Artesanos de Borriana. Mediterranean Gastr\u00f3noma’ is an open forum that brings together great chefs, producers, distributors, small traders and artisans.
