The Provincial Tourism Board reserves 500,000 euros for this aid, included in the Shock Plan approved to reinforce its support to the tourism sector in the current Covid-19 pandemic.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

The Provincial Tourism Board has already opened the deadline for companies certified with the Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor brand to apply for a line of subsidies to help them cope with the economic consequences caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The deputy responsible for the area, Virginia Mart\u00ed, has announced that, once published the bases in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) on Saturday 29 August, now opens a deadline until September 18 “for companies Castell\u00f3 Ruta del Sabor opt for a Reactivation Plan that provides a total amount of 500,000 euros”. The deputy highlights in this sense “the great effort of the Provincial Council of Castell\u00f3n, through the Tourist Board, to “redirect its budget and strengthen its support for the tourism sector, which has undoubtedly been one of the great victims of the health, economic and social emergency caused by the coronavirus. As stated in the bases, entities of the agri-food and tourism sector with a product or service adhered to the Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor brand may benefit from the subsidies, which are awarded on a competitive basis. The subsidies will be allocated to four specific blocks: the hiring of advisory and consulting services necessary for the development of contingency plans and protocols for action against Covid-19; the purchase or rental of materials and equipment necessary for the adaptation of facilities to health safety regulations; the development of digitization actions to adapt services to the requirements of the protocols set by the Covid-19 or, finally, development of communication and promotion actions. Only current expenses will be subsidized, and in no case on inventoriable goods. The amount of the subsidy may not exceed 80% of the activity, with a maximum eligible expenditure of 25,000 euros and a maximum subsidy per beneficiary of 20,000 euros.
