The Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n will exhibit at the prestigious Madrid Fusion the gastronomic wealth of the province through the brand of local products Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor with the aim of positioning the gastronomy of Castell\u00f3n among the best chefs in our country.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

January 20, 2019. The Diputaci\u00f3n de Castell\u00f3n will exhibit at the prestigious Madrid Fusion the gastronomic wealth of the province through the brand of local products Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor with the aim of positioning the gastronomy of Castell\u00f3n among the best chefs in our country. Thus, after its participation in FITUR, the Provincial Government will continue at the XVII International Gastronomy Summit Reale Seguros Madrid Fusion 2019 on January 28, 29 and 30, promoting and highlighting the provincial gastronomy as a source of new economic opportunities for the municipalities of Castell\u00f3n. <\/p>\n

It should be noted that Madrid Fusion is the most important international professional gastronomic event held in Spain this year and brings together nearly 2,000 congress participants every year, as well as the best chefs both nationally and from around the world, who present the trends and work being carried out within the high-level gastronomic scene, as well as quality products. For three days, prestigious chefs of the stature of Ferr\u00e1n Adri\u00e0, Ricard Camarena or Quique Dacosta, will participate in lectures and other activities around the stove. Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor will be present at Madrid Fusion with a stand in the ‘Taste Spain’ area and will have different promotional material and a screen with audiovisuals. In addition to providing coverage to dozens of producers from Castell\u00f3n, will publicize the extensive pantry with which the province has and position it as a gastrotourism destination. Very present will be the gastromapa edited by the provincial government where establishments, companies and public entities that are already part of the tourism product Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor. The deputy of Rural Development, Pablo Roig, explained that “we are carrying out a comprehensive strategy of promotion and consolidation of the brand Castell\u00f3 Ruta de Sabor, and as part of that strategy we participate in these specialized events. The aim is to publicize the virtues of the products of Castell\u00f3n among priority audiences, such as the best chefs in Spain, who are the great prescribers. At the fair they can taste the products, receive all the information about them and learn directly about their place of origin and the production process that follows their elaboration”. <\/p>\n

It should be noted that this space that the Provincial Council provides to producers from Castell\u00f3n will have facilities and equipment to conduct business meetings and will be available to dozens of producers who will travel to Madrid. The duality and coexistence of the maritime environment with the mountainous in the same territory is the differential element of the province of Castell\u00f3n that is concentrating the communication of the Provincial Council when promoting the destination in tourism fairs and gastronomic also aimed at the national public. Thus, high mountain products such as truffles, meats, wines, oils and mineral waters combine perfectly with the best seafood, oranges and other vegetables such as artichoke and tomato penjar. “A gastronomic diversity with a level of quality that is very difficult to surpass and which we have to make the most of for our territory.
