Villages that preserve seafaring traditions

The coastline of the province of Castellón is dotted with picturesque fishing villages, veritable moving posts full of traditional fishing boats. In the evening, the ports become a spectacle when the day’s catch is unloaded, and the traditional fish auction takes place in the fish markets.

A good way to get to know the seafaring culture is through its excellent gastronomy, tasting a good seafood paella or traditional rice dishes such as arroz a banda. The seafood gastronomic offer is immense, and you will find it hard to choose between the prawns from Vinaròs, the octopus from Benicarló, the cannellini, cuttlefish, gilthead bream and sea bass prepared with the mastery of our chefs.

You can't miss it...
